What should I do to return the delivered product?
- When you have a problem with your order, you might return the product after having the approval from our customer representative. Products returned without having the approval of customer representatives are not being accepted.
- You might return your product in accordance with conditions specified below to “Samm Teknoloji İletişim San. ve Tic. A.Ş”, “Gebze Organize Sanayi Bölgesi (GOSB) İhsandede Cd. 800. Sok No: 802, 41400 Gebze-Kocaeli, Turkey” within 3 work days after having return approval from the customer representatives by completely filling out the Return Section of the invoice printout (*). Courier fee of returned products has to be paid by the sender. Cargo delivered as “cash on delivery” shall not be accepted. Promotional products delivered as a present within the scope of the campaign should also be returned at the same time together with the product to be returned and related gift certificates (if any) shall be cancelled. When you want to return your product, please give a prompt notice to farnell@samm.com to not to hinder the process.
(*) In case the invoice of the product to be returned is prepared on behalf of the institution, then product has to be returned together with the Return Invoice to be prepared by the institution. Return invoice has to be prepared without including the cargo share (as product’s unit price + VAT).
Return Conditions
- Right of withdrawal could not be exercised for products that could not be returned due to its characteristics, goods whose price is determined via stock market or in other organized markets, goods customized in accordance with the personal needs and requests of the customer, goods that are perishable or having the possibility of expiration.
- In return operations, “product price” is paid back within 3 (three) work days following the receiving of the product. Refund is going to be made online to your credit card in case you’ve made your payment with your “Credit Card”. In case you made your payment via “Money Transfer/EFT”, your refund is made to your IBAN number. The period of deposit of the refund amount to your bank account/credit card might vary depending on the processing time of banks. If you experience a problem during this process, we advice you to get in touch with the customer services of your bank.
United Kingdom Originated Products
Defected/Damaged Products
Initial operational guarantee is offered to all of our products. In case you experience a problem during the first operation of your product, then within the scope of warranty things you need to do and its handling for the return process are as shown below:
- Within 10 (ten) days following the realization of delivery you have to inform us regarding the defected/damaged status of products by sending an e-mail to farnell@samm.com.
- You need to deliver the invoice of the defected/damaged product and a picture of the said product to farnell@samm.com.
- Your return/refund process shall be started following the approval of customer representatives.
- You need to deliver the defected/damaged product after filling out the Return Section of the invoice printout completely. You might deliver the product to the address given below via cargo firm specified below by indicating the agreement number as cash on delivery:

- Packaging and accessories of the product delivered as defected/damaged are being controlled by SAMM after taking the delivery.
- Product is either replaced or its “product price” is refunded within 3 (three) work days according to your preference. In this case all cargo expenses are being paid by SAMM.
- Delivery of the new product is realized in accordance with sales and delivery periods specified in the terms of sale. This might vary according to the stock conditions of the product.
Short (Missing) Product/Accessory
- In case of a Short (Missing) Product/Accessory condition, at first you need to compare the content of the delivery with the waybill list. A partial delivery (delivery of products within the same Order by separately packing them) operation might be applied to your Order. You might control the product status and delivery dates of your Orders from the “Order Follow-Up” page.
- After your controls in case you determine that your Order is not delivered in full, then you need to give a prompt notice to farnell@samm.com within 10 (ten) work days following the realization of the delivery.
- After your controls in case you determine that certain parts your Order is/are missing, then you need to give a prompt notice to farnell@samm.com within 10 (ten) work days following the realization of the delivery by indicating the “Missing Product Apparatus/Accessory”.
Wrong Product
- In case delivered product is not identical with the product indicated in your invoice, then you need to give a prompt notice to farnell@samm.com within 10 (ten) work days following the realization of the delivery by also attaching the picture of the received (wrong) product.
- You might return the wrong product to us without making a cargo payment following your application.
- Product is going to be inspected by SAMM after taking the delivery. In case there are no deformations present on the product/packaging, then the correct product is going to be delivered to your address without applying cargo charges within 7 to 10 work days for products originated from United Kingdom according to its stock status.
I would like to cancel my order, which I’ve made from your Site, originated from United Kingdom. What should I do?
- Since products are being imported from abroad, at first you need to notify us regarding your cancellation request in written. Upon your written request, price of the product shall be deposited to your account by canceling your Order in case it is not added for shipment yet.
- In case a product originated from United Kingdom is included to shipment, then return is going to be accepted by deducting 30 % of the order amount (customs duty paid during the import stage might increase this ratio) which is the abroad logistics and customs fee of the Order subject to cancellation.
- In case the return of a product ordered from the stocks of United Kingdom is requested due to the mistake of the Customer, then return is going to be accepted by deducting 30 % of the order amount (customs duty paid during the import stage might increase this ratio) which is the abroad logistics and customs fee of the Order subject to cancellation.
USA Originated Products

I would like to cancel my order, which I’ve made from your Site, originated from USA. What should I do?
- Products originated from USA are at first being sent to UK then delivered to Turkey. Due to this reason delivery period is 20 work days (4 weeks).
- Since products are being imported from abroad, at first you need to notify SAMM’s customer representative regarding your cancellation request in written. Upon your written request, product cost is going to be deposited to your account at first by controlling whether or not order is shipped from USA, if not shipped from USA then it is cancelled.
- In case shipment of the product is realized from USA, then a refund or cancellation could not be made.
If I cancel an order paid by Credit Card, when would be the product price transferred to my account?
- After the cancellation of your Order, refund is going to be made by the related unit, and going to be deposited to your account in the shortest time possible.
- However, since money transfer periods of banks may vary, you might get in contact with the customer services of your bank.
If I cancel my order which I’ve made via money transfer, when would be the product price transferred to my account?
- After the cancellation of your Order, product price shall be deposited to your account within the shortest time possible.
